Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms:

You understand that by attending a consultation with Maximum Wage and/or purchasing our services, you agree to our policies and procedures. You understand that purchasing a service, receiving a download, or working with us in any capacity does not guarantee a job interview, job opportunity, or change to an offer, with Maximum Wage or elsewhere.

Services Provided:

You agree to share information you provide on any forms, including attachments, with Maximum Wage, who may review the information and provide feedback. You understand that feedback or services provided about your resume, job search, interview, application documents, or offer may be provided by a Maximum Wage employee/contractor.

Your Career Consultation is an open discussion to understand you more and how we can best assist you through this process. It is not to critique your job search, resume, social media, or other career-related items.

We ask for permission to ask questions based on your goals, career, apprehensions, and learn more about you.

Client Responsibilities:

While Maximum Wage will be there to cheer you on, guide you in the right direction, work diligently on any packages or add-ons purchased, we cannot do this without your involvement. This is YOUR career, and we can only work as hard as you do. We ask that you respond to our communication within a reasonable timeframe. Failure to do so may result in forfeiting your services.

We ask that you be open and honest with us. We want the best for you during this career process too! Please be on time. Your time is valuable and limited to the time slot you've reserved. Appointments canceled less than 12 hours in advance may be charged the full rate. We respect your time and efforts and hope you do the same for us.

Your information will not be distributed to any outside parties unless given direct permission. Outside parties may include mentors, instructors, counselors, and/or potential employers. Maximum Wage does not guarantee employment. We are dedicated coaches who will strive to do our best in guiding you through this process. 

Maximum Wage does not warrant or guarantee that use of free/paid services will lead to a job interview, a job offer, or an increase in salary or benefits. You agree to release Maximum Wage from all claims arising out of or related to your use of resume services, including claims that you lost a job offer, did not obtain a salary or benefit increase, or did not obtain a job. This release includes, but is not limited to, claims of Maximum Wage’s own negligence, violations of the Texas deceptive trade practices act or similar statute, breach of warranty, fraud, and tortious interference with contract, and breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing. Further, Maximum Wage disclaims any warranties related the materials, and content thereof, provided as part of services. You understand that some provided materials, such as feedback, may be developed or provided by an employee/contractor.

Intellectual Property:

All materials, content, and resources provided by Maximum Wage, including but not limited to documents, templates, guides, feedback, courses, and digital downloads, are the exclusive property of Maximum Wage. These materials are provided solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, or share these materials in whole or in part without prior written consent from the Owner of Maximum Wage. Unauthorized use of these materials may result in legal action and constitutes infringement under U.S. copyright law and applicable international laws.

Payment, Fees, and Refunds:

Maximum Wage does not provide refunds on services, digital or physical products, or courses rendered. This includes any product, goods, or service displayed on the Maximum Wage website or affiliated websites, customized services, or services verbally discussed. Maximum Wage and affiliates provide a 7-day window to make any changes, edits, corrections, or improvements to written services (customized resume, LinkedIn, cover letter) rendered to meet satisfaction. Maximum Wage asks for client participation to ensure services meet satisfaction. Should a client refuse to participate and/or not respond to communication within a reasonable timeframe (as discussed within communication), remaining services may be forfeited. 

Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers:

Maximum Wage’s provision of services and the site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. With respect to services and your use thereof, Maximum Wage and its affiliates, and its and their third-party licensors, disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including without limitation for non-infringement, merchantability and fitness for any purpose. Except for amounts payable pursuant to section 3, indemnification, and for any breach by you of section 1, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) neither party will be liable under these resume terms for any consequential, special, indirect, exemplary, punitive, or other damages whether in contract, tort or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages and notwithstanding any failure of essential purpose of any limited remedy; and (b) each party’s aggregate liability to the other under these services terms is limited to amounts paid or payable to Maximum Wage by you for the services giving rise to the claim.

Live Video/Session Participation:

You further understand and agree that there is no protection for any information you share or data that you transmit while participating in a live video session including, but not limited to, audio/visual content, questions and answers, or your image or likeness. You acknowledge and agree that Maximum Wage is not responsible for securing or protecting any data or information that you share or transmit during your live video session. Maximum Wage assumes no liability for the misuse of any data you share or transmit through your participation in live video sessions. You understand and agree that you access and participate in live video sessions at your own discretion and risk. You further agree that Maximum Wage disclaims all liability arising out of your participation in live video sessions.

Payments:

You shall be charged as indicated by the Site. Subject to the Limited Cancellation Rights in Section 6, refunds (if any) are at the absolute discretion of Maximum Wage and only in the form Maximum Wage finds appropriate in its sole discretion. You acknowledge and agree that any credit card and related billing and payment information that you provide to Maximum Wage may be shared by Maximum Wage with companies who work on Maximum Wage’s behalf, such as payment processors.

Termination:

Services are offered on a beta basis, and Maximum Wage may cancel all or part of Services at any time, in our sole discretion, without prior notice. We may suspend your access to Services, the Site, your account, or any other provision of services to you, and we may terminate the Services Terms agreement with you, at our sole discretion, at any time, with or without notice. If you wish to terminate the Services Terms agreement, you may do so by notifying Maximum Wage at any time. All provisions of the Services Terms, which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, releases, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
